Read in the Star, re: the children of St Helens feeling they are not being heard. The ethos of Dream is hope, aspiration and inspiration to the towns next generations....we allow it to be hidden... are you surprised that this is the way they think ?

I always answer people when they say stuff like 'What's that got do wi pit'? .. well... again...Dream is NOT a mining monument. She is a wonderful piece of public art dedicated to the mining industry in St Helens, and all linked by a base constructed to replicate a mining tally
Its an amazing story how we went from a colliery to a sculpture that now has replicas around the world. Thats why our original website (https://t.co/Zho778vLo5) should be immediately reinstated (not an ill informed link) as the story is unique and will never be repeated.

I think if there was a moment in our choosing of the Dream artist Jaume Plensa then seeing the Crown
Fountain in Chicago was the game clincher. Still today for me it's jaw dropping. #plensa#dreamsthelens
Today a milestone was met when myself and Diann met thee Billy Casper. Surprisingly, I got quite emotional speaking to him after not only watching Kes many many times over the years but also studying the social aspect of the movie which reflects in many ways my early life.
Jaume new exhibition in Bonn.
'Invisibles'. Again the use of Dreams cousins are prevalent of which I'm personally and extremely proud of, given that St Helens were the originators of these works. So again, please... let's not hide the bugger.

On father's day I relay to you my dad's comment after Dreams opening ceremony...'you've built it in the wrong place it lad, it should be in Liverpool, cause them scousers would look after it, because this lot, well..now they've got it .....they'll not know what to do with it'.
