One of the things we need to discuss is that LLMs listening to your conversations and phone calls, reading your texts and emails — this is all going to be normalized and inevitable within seven years.
This is why industry talk about how people need to just be responsible with their data is such nonsense - even if you are incredibly careful, there are so many contexts where your personal data can be spread against your will and without your knowledge (and now harvested for AI).

While answering questions from the Pegasus inquiry committee, Ewa Wrzosek had this great response to the argument that "if you have nothing to hide, then..." You can have nothing to hide *and* have a right to privacy. They're not mutually exclusive.

Times when call volumes should be “higher than normal”: adverse weather, unforeseen circumstances, many flight cancellations, etc.
Times when call volumes should be considered normal: all other times.
This is the dumbest customer experience ever.
As I reflect on which engineers I’ve worked with that I hold in highest esteem, I’m struck by the fact that raw coding ability isn’t a factor at all in what makes them good. For some of the ones I respect the most, I don’t think I’ve even seen any of the code they’ve written.
