I feel a shift happening with so many companies hiring tons of developers.
Community managers are just as important as devs.
Build it and they shall come is over. Without an active community your product will fail.
I went to a @github event and met @Abadesi for the first time in person. We started a podcast soon after, called it @techishpod. Almost a million downloads later, I would say leaving my house that day was worth it.
I'm currently looking for software engineering roles in the #SanFrancisco area or fully remote companies. If you know of anyone hiring, I would really appreciate an intro THANK YOU!

I’m 60 years old.
I’m launching a data intelligence company.
Do I know what I’m doing?

Follow me for melt downs & boundary pushing-vocabulary as I try to figure out how to come out from behind the magic curtain.
📣Phew okay I can finally share some news I’ve been keeping quiet for a while. I’m so, so excited to share that I’ve accepted an iOS role at Twitter starting in September 😊
Community building is often such a thankless job.
You have no idea how good it feels when a member reaches out and shares the impact the community has had for them.
It keeps us going.
