@MbalulaFikile I'm sure the United States will survive your decision not to visit.
Every country has the right to decide who it welcomes and who it doesn't. You appear to be persona non grata in their eyes.
@simonateba@elonmusk What kind of question is this?
Why should anyone be outraged because someone built successful companies, created jobs, took enormous risks and became wealthy?
Elon's success is not the reason other people are struggling. Blaming successful people for your problems 🤣
@RyanCoetzee Too many politicians seem to believe taxpayers' money and public funds are their personal piggy bank, available whenever there's a trip, event or luxury to be enjoyed.
Or they: treat public funds like a family inheritance they forgot to tell taxpayers about.
@eNCA Residents are being asked to pay more yet again.
The real question is: what will actually change? Will services improve, infrastructure be maintained, and bills be paid? Or will citizens simply be expected to fund more of the same?
@NixPret Half a trillion rand wasn't enough to fix Eskom, but it certainly kept a lot of cadres comfortable along the way.
Apparently R521 billion was spent to save Eskom.
Judging by the results, someone forgot to tell Eskom.
@eNCA Zondo exposed the rot. The real question is what happened next.
Why was there not stronger action, and why did Parliament not demand it?
A commission without accountability is just an expensive report.
@SABCNews We've had years of announcements, plans, strategies and promises.
Show us the action. Show us the results. And please don't send taxpayers the bill for another failed plan.

@Rakgadi_EM Being a single mother is not a defence for corruption.
Many single mothers work hard every day without taking bribes. If the allegation is true, taking R2,000 to betray the public trust is still wrong. Sies man.
@FaraiMazhindu The most troubling part is the apparent lack of accountability.
Many SAs feel that those in power are protected by their clan, regardless of the questions being asked or the concerns being raised. Until accountability applies equally to everyone, public trust is eroded.
@Patriot_S_A GHL will the same level of criticism be directed at ministers responsible for border management and immigration, regardless of which party they belong to?
Accountability should not depend on party colours.
@Our_DA
@thabanisandile3 The Madlanga Commission has restored more faith in accountability and justice in a few weeks than many institutions have managed in years.
@D_Molatoli The Madlanga Commission is simply the best.
Professional, thorough, fearless and focused on the facts. It has reminded many South Africans what accountability and public service are supposed to look like.
