We used a hex map and adjusted ranges, due to the 30m meter hex for the map's scale. Also tried out some variable damage that I feel is closer to Classic than the book suggested version.

Take target to hit number, divide by 2, round up, roll that on a d6 per point of damage fun

New life experience today. Gave my newborn son a bath today. We have been doing a fantastic job of not peeing on things during diaper changes and such. Mom got peed on a few days ago during a change, and today was my turn. Right in the beard... #dadlife #fatherhood #nothingbetter

The ax does better damage, due to weight. And they move the same speed. But I think it is appropriate for a heavy to move at a 4/6/4, but will just get the medium mech killed. LRMs not a bad idea too
