After Messi scored a hat-trick and walked off to a standing ovation, Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni sat on the bench with tears in his eyes. He tried to stay strong, but the emotion was too heavy. Then Messi came over, hugged him, and Scaloni completely broke down. 🇦🇷🥺
He later explained why he was crying:
"I cried because it's Messi's last World Cup, it's coming to an end, and every time I think about it, I start to cry. It's a privilege to watch this guy play."
For almost two decades, Messi has made millions of people fall in love with football.
Now even his own coach cannot hold back the tears because he knows we are watching the final pages of a story we may never see again.
Enjoy Messi while he is still here. One day, we will tell our children we watched magic live. 🐐💔⚽️

How my dad’s Access Bank account was hacked in under 20 minutes, and how to protect yourself.
Yesterday, my dad received a call from his sister. As he was about to answer, a pop-up suddenly took over his entire screen. It looked exactly like the Access More Banking app, complete with the official logo and a padlock. It said his app was “deactivated” and asked him to enter his password to reactivate it. He couldn’t do anything else on the phone, so he typed the password. Nothing happened. He rebooted the phone. 20 minutes later… he got a debit alert.
Here’s exactly what happened behind the scenes:
The call from his sister was real, but in some cases, the phone call may be an attacker calling to keep their victim distracted while the real attack is being launched. Take note, this is called Vishing (Voice Phishing).
But while he was distracted on the phone, a malicious overlay attack (also called screen overlay or clickjacking) was already running. A fake window planted by a bad app sat on top of everything, blocking all controls. The moment he entered his password, it was silently stolen in real time, a technique known as credential harvesting. With his password in hand, the attacker logged into his real bank account and moved the money out.
This is a classic Account Takeover (ATO) attack, and it’s becoming very common in Nigeria right now.
Key lessons & what you should look out for:
1. Never enter your bank password on any pop-up. Legitimate banks never ask for it this way.
2. If a pop-up suddenly freezes your screen, force restart immediately, don’t type anything.
3. Never click unknown links from WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, SMS, or broadcast messages.
4. Only install apps from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
5. Turn off unnecessary app notifications (especially from browsers like Opera Mini and Chrome, as well as junk cleaner apps).
6. Enable transaction alerts and set transfer limits on all your accounts.
If this ever happens to you:
1. Call your bank’s customer care or fraud line immediately
2. Report to EFCC and CBN Consumer Protection (especially for large amounts)
3. Factory reset your phone
Change all passwords from a different device
This attack combined Vishing (voice phishing) + Overlay Attack + fast credential theft. It’s sophisticated, but preventable.
Stay alert out there.
