@marvistavoice I’m curious to see how this plays out. Do you know Traci doesn’t have a single bed to put folks in? Inside safe controls all of them!! So our own council member can’t even place someone. 🤯
@Sheetrockdust@marvistavoice The fire was TINY when they arrived, scroll up and you can see my photo of the fire after the 20 minutes of unnecessary delay.
@marvistavoice The fire department is trash anyway. I watched the house next to me go from a small mini fridge fire to a TOTAL LOSS. The fire department spent 20 minutes getting ready” to enter the fire. Fixing their equipment. Total embarrassment for MV fire department.
@Sheetrockdust@marvistavoice Thankfully yes. The poor woman had already been through two other tragedies…. Her husband died a couple months earlier while she was at Costco. And a car drove into the front of the house unexpectedly.
@CordialWords@marvistavoice But it doesn’t take much more then common sense to see if firefighters stand around for nearly 15 to 20 minutes and watch a house go up in flames…
@CordialWords@marvistavoice The neighbor on the other side of the house that was burned down is a retired Culver City Firefighter. He advised me of the LAFD’s incompetence.
@m19461989@marvistavoice Sure it does, but I was responding to the fact that they had TONS OF RESOURCES. Over 40 firefighters on site. 7 trucks. All
for a small house fire.
@marvistavoice I had to tell them to take him to the ER. And they didn’t tell me which ER they were taking him to!!! They left me in the dark for nearly 4 hours. I had a call with the captain of Mar Vista fire department who profusely apologized.
@marvistavoice They had resources GALORE, what they need is better training. They seem incompetent. Completely incompetent… another example: my partner had the fire department come because he was having trouble breathing… they were incredibly rude and did basically nothing.

One of the young DDA’s in my office, who is also a mom, went to the media the other day to bring attention to a Gascón policy she felt was wrong and dangerous to children. No matter what side you are on regarding criminal justice policies, the LADA’s office should be transparent to the public and all Angelenos have a right to know what is happening with their criminal justice system.
Yesterday, Gascon sent police officers to this young DDA’s home to deliver a threatening letter telling her to immediately stop talking to the media.
Again, no matter where you sit regarding our criminal justice system, these type of intimidation and bully tactics are not what we are about here in Los Angeles. It’s unbecoming of an elected District Attorney.
Gascon doesn’t deserve to be the DA. Period.
