Can the S&P 500 hit 10,000 by decade end? It needs ~8.3% a year, a bar it has cleared roughly half the time historically. Fundamentally, earnings growth can do the heavy lifting, even if valuations shrink. We break down the numbers here (10/7/2026): https://t.co/Jfca920Aci
Closed out the day with @BrookeDiPalma on @YahooFinance discussing the setup into earnings. Watch EPS and margin beats. The "AND" is important to us.

"Mag 7 is a really great place to hang out through the end of the year."
Why @roundhill chief investment srategist @DrewMPettit is telling investors to steer clear of mid- and small-cap tech stocks for now:

Q3 earnings season is almost here, and we think margin beats, not EPS, will decide the winners. Analysts are usually spot-on with margins, so a surprise there signals real, durable demand. More in today's Market Memo (10/6/2026): https://t.co/Ev6Tnw9Bfx
Excluding China from your portfolio might be costing you more than you think. We joined Bloomberg Intelligence's Asia ETF webinar recently to talk semiconductors, and why precise and thematic, not broad, China exposure matters. (10/2/2026): https://t.co/hIRDsNi02x
Macro forces like rates and inflation explain just 5% of AI's returns on average. But under the hood, AI's 15 subcategories are moving more independently than before. Final part of our AI series looks at differentiation, in today's Market Memo (9/30/2026): https://t.co/YjhxG3DSzR
Tomorrow, leverage gets a longer horizon. The Roundhill S&P 500 Target 10,000 2030 ETF $XX launches with options-based exposure to the S&P 500 through a portfolio of long-dated call options with no daily reset.

Look I’m an AI bull, but there’s two ways to read this data. AI valuations make sense when you consider growth outlooks. Or earnings and commentary have to deliver because growth expectations are high. Honestly, both are true.
New research from McKinsey & Company estimates AI eliminates a lot of jobs but ends up being an overall positive for job growth in the U.S. through 2035.
#OnCNBCTV18 | Drew Pettit of #RoundhillInvestments' breaks down global macro shifts on CNBC-TV18: rising real rates lifting equity hurdle rates, global money favoring Korea/Taiwan over India, and early-stage AI adoption continuing to accelerate

Nothing AI is cheap. But every AI category trades at a better valuation-to-growth ratio than the S&P 500. The catch: it all hinges on companies hitting their growth targets. See more in part two of our AI series on valuation. (9/29/2026): https://t.co/ss846cq17I
2 key questions: Will surging US bond yields correct US equities?
Is India coming up in discussions or not yet?
The 5.3% US bond yields is the line in the sand
Roundhill's stress-test level for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq is a US 10-year yield of ~5.3%.
His words: "We're getting dangerously close to that level right now."
The US market is most sensitive to the 10-year, not the front end of the curve.
If yields hit 5.3%: get very selective: Stick to growth areas where you have conviction.
India: not on the radar
He called India "a little bit of a pain point."
In EM, money is going to South Korea, Taiwan and parts of China for AI earnings.
India is still seen as "a cyclical economy, a price taker on oil." It "hasn't come up in a lot of our thematic discussions."

Last push higher for US yields was real rate driven, not inflation expectations. We still think with good growth, S&P 500 and NASDAQ can handle 5.3% on the 10Y. This and more in my interview with @_prashantnair, @Reematendulkar, and @blitzkreigm on @CNBCTV18News.

$MAGS had a strong stretch, even after some early fears around AI.
Drew Pettit of @roundhill tells @JD_Durkin "MAGS is working, MAGS is back," pointing to rising compute demand and strong product launches from $META as reasons for the conviction.
