@SUBWAY What's goign on with your system? Placed an order through your app and it was canceled because your system was having problems. YET my card was hit TWO times for the charge. Who do I talk to about this??
@JohnEDeaton1 Just the fact that they raised money in of itself--no matter whether any Howey prongs are met--is enough to justify a decision against Ripple. While that might be true and may happen, it's just wrong. We either have laws, rules, and precedents or we don't.
@JohnEDeaton1 Your video scared me a bit. Near the end, Marc Fagel (who seemed fair & rational) seemed 2 think that while all of the specific elements might not be met, the judge could still think Ripple doesn't pass the smell test & go with the spirit of the law instead of letter of the law.
@BinanceUShelp I tried to withdraw some money last week & thought I finished the process. But I didn't see the email w/the confirmation link so the money is still sitting there but under "Unavailable Balance" How do I get a new withdraw confirmation link or how do I access the $?
@digitalassetbuy No, it's not. We've known for a very long time that Ripple hired an outside firm to evaluate XRP as to how it fits or doesn't fit within securities law. It probably helps to show that Brad and Chris weren't reckless. But it would be the smoking gun if someone at SEC wrote this.
@QeYcc@JohnEDeaton1 Do you not know how to read? Is there anywhere in here that he said he has a problem with ETH? Seems to me that everything he has talked about having a problem with is the SEC, more particularly Hinman's criminal behavior.
@CGasparino@bgarlinghouse@HesterPeirce All of this wasn't so foreign to all the folks that warned Hinman before the speech that his analysis was out of whack and that he could create confusion and damage the market. Seems to me their advice was pretty spot on. This was Hinman going off the reservation.
@CGasparino@bgarlinghouse@HesterPeirce Really? With Hinman still consorting with Simpson Thatcher folks, which was a conflict of interest, and who were a member of the Ethereum Alliance, you think Hinman was just a babe in the woods wandering around just doing the best he could? All of this ETH stuff was foreign?
@bgarlinghouse@chrislarsensf and he doesn't care about the appearance of impropriety. He's not interested in the opinions of those around him who warned him about the implications of his speech. He had just one mission---to promote the price of ETH.
@bgarlinghouse@chrislarsensf You can see Hinman's smug contempt for rules in the email where he discusses buying his own lunch and sitting a the same table as the Simpson Thatcher guy, Joshua. He knew he was supposed to not meet with them b/c of conflict of interest, but he doesn't care about rules...
@RepThomasMassie@RandPaul After this has come out and millions have died, why is the western world not doing something about or to China for the destruction they caused? Or did we fund it? https://t.co/S6bATy9WmC
@NikoFeijtel @IOV_OWL You may be right about the centralization asset, but really? Who's going to use BTC with its slow-ass transmission times and high fees? You going to wait 20 minutes and pay $6 in fees to get a cup of coffee?
