In Deutschland waren Januar 2024 übrigens 3,45 Millionen Diesel LKW zugelassen.... Just saying.

East Germany has been receiving massive financial aid for 36 years. They’ve even been given the capital.
It is now richer than all the other former Eastern Bloc states and, in many cases, even more prosperous than many rural regions of France or the UK.
And 36 years on, their most important desire is to really screw West Germany over by
voting for Nazis.
As a West German, you feel like you’re being taken for a ride.

In May 2023, 13-year-old Owen Burns was in his bedroom in Alpena Township, Michigan, when he heard his 8-year-old sister screaming outside.
At first, he thought she was playing with friends. Then he heard another scream.
Owen looked through his bedroom window and saw a 17-year-old grabbing his sister, covering her mouth and trying to pull her toward the woods behind their home.
He reached for a slingshot his mother had bought him on clearance for about 3 US dollars.
Owen found a marble, loaded it and fired from the window.
It struck the teenager in the head.
He quickly loaded a rock and fired again, hitting him in the chest.
The attacker's grip loosened, giving Owen's sister the chance to break free and run back into the house.
Police later found the teenager with injuries to his head and chest consistent with the slingshot strikes. He was arrested and faced charges including attempted kidnapping and assault.
Owen had practiced with the slingshot before, usually aiming at old orange juice cans. When people praised his accuracy, he simply said he was lucky because the attacker was a much bigger target.
Later, when a reporter asked why he had risked himself to save his little sister, Owen gave an answer that sounded exactly like a 13-year-old brother.
“I only did it because I kind of love her a little bit.”
