Such a disappointment that @Zoom#zoommeeting has decided to change the 50 minute meeting limit for 1:1 meetings. It worked out so well for #therapy#psychology#counsellingpsychology and was free. Will be moving my remote clients to another platform

Our book is now available to buy and I'm so pleased to sit here with my copies, celebrating the hard work of our contributors and collaboration of editors. A great text for trainees and those who are qualified in psychology.

@DVLAgovuk Not as easy as it may seems. DVLA requests an application completion form as well so how is this quicker than the paper version? No links to how to get this form on paperwork, very confusing for people.
It was the ‘academic’ behavioural psychologists on SAGE - the rest of us psychologists are mopping up the #anxiety and #mentalhealth issues lockdowns and governmental restrictions caused - seen daily in clinics.
The last two years has created so many hypochondriacs, so many work shy and so many that are detached from reality and the struggles that people face.
This is down to the nudging and disproportionate messaging that we had from Government psychologists.
“ Don’t kill Granny..” 😡
I often find my psychoed sessions about the impacts of trauma on the brain to be clunky.
The regions of the brain + their functions can be confusing and difficult to remember for patients!
But, I found this TRAILS explanation and LOVE how easy it makes these sessions!
The effect of COVID-19 isolation measures on cognition and mental health of people living with dementia: A systematic review study.

Absolutely, the negative psychological impact of the government imposed lockdowns are seen in psychologist’s clinics daily. #mentalillness#anxiety#joblosses#financialworries These advisors have a lot to answer for.
This quotation from Mark Woolhouse is an honest admission that SAGE -- like Tony Fauci -- never properly considered or assessed the collateral harms from lockdown before advising the government to adopt them. This was a catastrophically bad public health policy.
Really proud to have edited this fabulous book with Helen Nicholas and Mark Bradley. A great insight into counselling psychology. 17 chapters with contributions from 18 counselling psychologists. Out in May. https://t.co/SKm9U7lVYM
