Initial election results are in! As of 8 p.m. tonight, it appears our School Construction Bond and renewal Education Levy are passing. The bond, which needs 60% of the vote, currently has 62.60% of the vote. The levy, which requires 50% plus one vote to pass, has 63.35% of the vote tonight.
The measures continue local funding for programs, services and staff not fully funded by the state, as well as provide construction funding for a new elementary school, the rebuilding of Lowell Elementary, and safety and security improvements districtwide.
