Anyone paying for Open Source work should be able to check whether a vendor contributes. Open Source projects should take responsibility for making that easy by publishing contribution records. https://t.co/ehDraizJCV

Open Source code and the stewardship around it have different economics. That distinction helps show what a project might charge for, what it must budget for, and how it could fund stewardship without making the code less open. https://t.co/0yBIQZRu0H

Open source companies learned how to build valuable businesses when access to the code was free. AI is forcing the rest of the software industry to confront the same business-model question. https://t.co/fxkRl1J9cX

When AI causes harm, responsibility should follow meaningful control. Model creators control training and release, product builders control permissions and deployment, and users control deliberate misuse. https://t.co/7Ngw88GTVr

I added Agentic Resource Discovery (ARD) to my website, giving AI agents another way to discover its search API. https://t.co/D9i5DNHTri

I added /.well-known/api-catalog support to my site so AI agents could discover my site's search. Zero found it on their own, but an Agent Skill closed the gap: https://t.co/w7rNTK2YjD

A CMO told me connecting a new DAM to her websites was quoted at ~$100K and three months. The reason? Three CMS platforms meant three integrations. That's the hidden cost of CMS fragmentation, and why more orgs are standardizing on Drupal: https://t.co/xr119WA6Ei

Some Open Source is simply shared. Some is stewarded as infrastructure. Naming the difference changes the conversation.

"Anyone can contribute" is not the same as "everyone has the same opportunity to contribute". AI could reduce the privilege of free time in Open Source, but only if access and skill become shared, not private advantages. I wrote about it in https://t.co/RkoUjfv4x2 #opensource

Drupal's future in AI workflows is both inside and outside the CMS: supporting Drupal-native workflows, external orchestration, and the trusted handoffs between them. https://t.co/U7fcUCRFit

AI is not killing the CMS. It is unbundling creation from control. That may replace the CMS for simple publishing, but it makes the CMS more important wherever content is shared, reused, approved, or trusted across systems. https://t.co/11DSYpOfKw #cms

AI agents do not always choose the best software. They choose the path they can complete with the least effort. That gives open source an edge, but only if projects are easy to install, inspect, modify, and verify. New post: https://t.co/IYrbEuEbnE

The EU's sovereignty framework scores Open Source at roughly 4%. It should be a prerequisite, not a rounding error. https://t.co/Xg4zYZbqwG #OpenSource #DigitalSovereignty

Drupal 12 will use Argon2id for password hashing by default. Existing passwords migrate automatically on next login. Most site owners never think about password hashing, so getting the defaults right matters most. 🛡️🎯💪 https://t.co/KJtP5IZGLs
