We did something good, really proud of the organisers @EMPIRE, LH Events (Events Production & Experience) and my team @DrinksDivision for the drinks, champagnes & whiskeys served, and yes the beauty that was that BAR, my other Team @DDhaul for delivering the sculpted marble head (a work of ART) of @asakemusik to the venue and back.

That sculpture weighed over 200KG

This is a special special announcement and praise for @neminsuranceplc, I am instructing our brokers (Ideal Insurance Brokers) to henceforth increase the number of our fleet with you this year as they expire with others.

I am particularly impressed about the prompt service delivery on our "@ddhaul" recent claim (an unfortunate incident involving one of our assets in Lokoja) I had imagined that even after we had sorted the issue out of pocket, that it'll take forever to be reimbursed...

We got our DV this morning, the claim was sent yesterday and I am surprised and excited at the same time at the timeliness of this.

Uber in Nigeria is a classic example of Gresham’s Law where inferior quality drives out superior quality.

When Uber started it enforced strict standards on vehicle type age and condition.

Drivers were screened and a rating system rewarded good behavior and quality service so users got a premium experience.

Bolt entered the market lowered standards and competed mainly on price. Uber came under pressure and responded by lowering its own standards. The market shifted into a race to the bottom.

Today owning a clean well maintained car on Uber offers no real reward. You earn roughly the same as someone driving a rickety vehicle. It is like running an air conditioned bus and competing with a danfo on Lagos roads.

This is Gresham’s Law in action.
