🤍👋🏼 Dani Carvajal: “The team where we won 4 Champions League in 5 years, I want to remember them.
Cristiano, Casillas, Ramos, Ancelotti, Zidane...
Please stand up and applaud for them”.

La saison d'Arsenal est déjà HISTORIQUE : elle pourrait l'être ENCORE PLUS en cas de victoire en finale de la Ligue des Champions contre le PSG. 🏆🇪🇺
This man really saw Real Madrid struggling and said I’ll do it, I’ll do it again, I’ll take the job, literally offering himself when things are going rough. A similar situation the first time he came to Madrid, they didn’t reach a semi-final in the Champions League for SIX consecutive seasons stranding in the round of 16.
When Mourinho came they reached THREE semi-finals in a row and they were the best team in Europe by far in 2012.
More importantly he brought back the Madrid DNA. Instilled it into the players. Players like Cristiano, Ramos, Benzema, Modric, Di Maria, Pepe & Marcelo and look at the leaders they have become throughout their whole careers. With Mou it was always TEAM first.
It was chaotic, dramatic, sometimes over the edge, and we weren’t liked by everyone but it was the most beautiful time as Madridista. Every game you would sit on the edge of your seat. We would beat opponents with 4 to 6 goals week in week out. With stunning counter attacks, beautiful finishing, and players showing off their skills. Marcelo was a different kind of player in his earlier days.
I always thought what if all these guys leave, we will never get anything close to it. But the season 2023/2024 was very similar in certain ways.
I know this surprises some people when I say Mourinho and beautiful football in one sentence, but it’s true, Real Madrid won the La Liga with a record amount of points (100), and a record amount of goals (112). I think you can simply not judge him based on his periods at Spurs or Fenerbahçe, it’s a different setting, a different culture, different history and perhaps a different motivation. I think it’s Mourinho’s long lasting dream to come back to Madrid one more time and win the Champions League as he deserves. How beautiful it would be. Even the fact that Madrid coaches like Ancelotti and Zidane already have been able to return is incredible. As a Madrid coach you don’t get to stay long usually, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a bad coach, and getting a second chance I think is something really special. All of these coaches have been very successful in their own ways at the club.
My biggest wish is for Mourinho to do the same for our players we have now. For the Bellingham’s, the Arda’s, the Vini’s. To set aside their own priorities and develop in many ways, always with team first in mind. We’re in the transition phase and Mourinho is the man to make things right. This isn’t about tactics, this isn’t about modern-game management, this is about boys becoming men and these men becoming the NEW leaders of this generation.
Don José Mourinho, forever with you.
