I've hosted 632+ podcast episodes, read a book a week for the last 10 years, and run my own business the whole time.
My brain is my most valuable asset & here is everything I use to keep it sharper than ever at 40:
1. Modafinil
I was wondering why YouTube is getting broadcast rights to the FIFA World Cup- especially considering the fact that TV rights are a huge source of revenue for competition organizers.
I didn’t have to go too far to realize what’s happening. Watch the video to find out
Breaking: Your smart TV takes a screenshot of your screen twice every second and sells what it sees.
It is called ACR, and it has been running since you set the TV up.
Texas already sued over it. Here is how to turn it off in under 2 minutes:
There is a new scam going on in this home inspection industry
- Large corporations are buying up all the small home inspection companies
- They don’t care about making money off inspecting homes, they want the data
Why? This is where it gets borderline criminal
Home inspections are supposed to be confidential, but what they’re doing is buying all the companies to own the data
Then they are going to sell that data to insurance companies and lenders
Now with this new information the insurance company finds out, they're going to start charging you $3,000 (or whatever) extra a year to insure that house
Here’s what I’ve found
Large corporations and private equity firms are aggressively consolidating the home inspection industry primarily by buying inspection software platforms like Spectora, HomeGauge and larger inspection companies
A home inspection report contains highly detailed property specific information like roof age and condition, electrical and plumbing issues, foundation problems, HVAC status, environmental hazards
This is extremely valuable for:
- Insurance companies (risk assessment and underwriting).
- Lenders (property valuation and loan risk).
- Home warranty providers, contractors, and data brokers
Home inspections are supposed to be confidential between the buyer, inspector, and sometimes the real estate parties.
However, many inspection software companies’ terms of service allow data aggregation and sharing
That’s the loophole they found. That’s the scam
His internet has been slow for 6 months. So, he paid Comcast to upgrade his tier.
Speeds got worse.
He called Comcast again. They blamed his router. He bought a new one. Still slow.
He called a third time. They sent a technician out. The tech ran a speed test from inside the modem and said:"Speeds are fine on our end. Must be your devices."
A neighbor who works in IT came over the next weekend with his laptop.
He looked at the router for two minutes, opened the admin panel, and pointed at four settings on the screen.
"Comcast pushed a firmware update last year. They enabled all four of these silently. This is why your internet is slow. This is why every Comcast customer's internet got slower around the same time."
Here's exactly what he found and turned off. 🧵

This Nicolas Cage interview is amazing. Nic was asked about that crazy voice he does in Gunslingers and his response is not something I could have ever guessed.
Cooked these last night from Costco. 16 burgers for $24. Hands down the best frozen burger I’ve ever had. Just add salt and pepper or whatever seasoning you prefer.
If you are cooking a bunch, I highly recommend a black stone because they are very big around in diameter.

JUDGE GOES FULL BASED MODE ON OVERREACHING HOA KAREN BOARD
This woman’s house sits RIGHT on the edge of an HOA but was never part of it.
They spent years harassing her with violation notices — paint color, grass length, porch rules, the whole communist checklist — then straight-up threatened to foreclose on her home over unpaid fines.
Her response? “Your Honor, my property isn’t in their HOA. It never was.”
Watch the judge’s face when the HOA lady admits the board “voted” to force her in without her knowledge. 😭
Judge: “Did you just say you voted her into the association?! She hasn’t signed ANYTHING… If your HOA sends one more notice or harasses this woman one more time, I will disband your association.”
HOAs = neighborhood communism with extra steps.
Petty tyrants who think they can “vote” your God-given property rights away. These clowns would fine the Founding Fathers for insufficient mulch.
ABOLISH HOAs.
Your home. Your rules. Not some nosy board’s.
"When you come to fight with Stephen A Smith, what you're doing is playing his game, his way, on his turf — and he's better at it than almost anybody is."
Fair warning, if baking soda gives me one more night of elite sleep where I feel refreshed all day instead of that lingering grogginess a lot of sleep supplements give... I’m never going to shut up about it.
