Thanks and agreed! The labeling rules for EVs were necessarily put in place before the recent influx of new entries. Now that there’s more and better data, it’s time to adjust them to be more comparable and more real world, like those for ICE powertrains have been over the years
Big props to @DrivenItAll for publishing in SAE, very cool! And a great topic. @CARandDRIVER's 75 mph range test is IMO the best current way to gauge EV range. We need to improve the rating system!

I usually see people posting negative @ElectrifyAm experiences, so here’s a positive one. Plugged in a Lucid Air to a 150 kW stall (all they have at this location) and the charge rate has been pegged at 174 kW for the first 15 minutes or so. Expectations exceeded
I now own a pickup, my first! ‘94 Ranger, 4.0, manual, 4x4. As you may have surmised from its presence on a trailer, it needs some TLC before it will be ready for hold-my-beer-grade sweet jumps
@BarelyStreetabl@CARandDRIVER No way. The full-boat Z51 only beat the Mustang by 2.4 seconds, and that’s with better tires, bigger brakes, shorter final drive, and the eLSD. But you’re welcome to bring one next week and give it a go https://t.co/rVi4FGfS3b
