If you're in Edinburgh or planning to visit in August, come to my show "Hookers for Jesus". I'll be talking about prostitution, charity, Magdalene Asylums and faith! It's a small venue so places are limited. #FringeFestival#Edinburgh#History@edfringe
Thank you @HCAatEdinburgh for hosting a really interesting lecture by prof Breathnach! It was fascinating to hear about photos as a historical source material!
I hadn’t known that an interview about a book could be inspiring until I heard Dr Sollereder and Prof Williams discussing ‘When Courage Calls’. I left buzzing with enthusiasm and hope. Can’t wait to read the book! @uoedivinity

Very excited to announce that my first book has now been published!! It deleves into the lives of one hundred working-class individuals to explore their experiences of the years 1900 to 1945 in England!
I'm excited to say that I'll be starting @IASH_Edinburgh Postdoctoral Fellowship in November!🎉I look forward to being part IASH and @HCAatEdinburgh and pursing my project on #MagdaleneAsylums and Mother&Baby Homes in 20th-century Scotland!

Visiting #Corstorphine Heritage Trust Archives was a moving and fascinating experience. The passion of the volunteers and the wealth of ‘hidden’ resources they have was incredible! I loved seeing photos of people and places I’ve been researching for many years #LocalHistory
It was lovely to visit @uoedivinity last week to hear the story (and history) behind the Mary of Guise plaque. Prof Jane Dawson’s lecture was an extra treat - it reminded me of my undergraduate years!
Thank you @SalvArmyArchive for all your help during my visit. It was one of my favourite archival visits in my career! I look forward to going through my photos and turning my findings into an article 📖
