I'm back on the road! Lovely afternoon in Sheffield lecturing on paediatric emergency and major trauma imaging, as the RCR/BSPR Travelling Professor. Lots of engagement from the trainees. Thanks for the brownies 😊.
I'm off to Bristol in a couple of weeks!
It was an awesome experience. It's such a privilege to be part of this initiative, especially at the first paeds IR visiting facility to Uganda. I'm already looking forward to my next trip! @socpedsir@BSPRJuniorForum
A team of examiners for the Interventional Radiology Fellowship program at the department of Radiology from Road2IR paid a courtesy call to the Dean School of Medicine @Road2IR, @JeogsErem, @DrJohnAdu, @EmMakerere, @Makerere
@Road2IR is an excellent initiative. It's such a privilege to be part of something so exciting. So much potential to make a positive impact with paeds IR here in Uganda ☺️ @BarnacleAlex@_the_SRT@BSPRJuniorForum
@DrJohnAdu 🇬🇧 having great impact in 🇺🇬 with the first peds IR teaching trip to this country of 50 million with a median age of 17 and no peds IR until now. First sclerotherapy in country is in the books. A new beginning!

Do you know your 'oxters' from your 'heid'? Neither did I until this afternoon. Now I've had a crash course in Doric (Aberdeen local dialect), I'm up to speed!
Really fun day teaching the Aberdeen radiology trainees today as the Travelling Prof.
Looking forward to the next one!
Thank you Edinburgh! I had such a great time today teaching today as the RCR/BSPR travelling prof. Excellent participation from trainees from Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow radiology training schemes, in person and online. Back on the road in a few weeks - Aberdeen next!
