Congratulations to Dr. Ogunlade on his election as President of the International Spinal Endoscopy Research Foundation (iSERF).
iSERF advances spinal endoscopy through research, education, and global collaboration to improve minimally invasive spine surgery worldwide.
Congrats to Dr. Alexander Perdomo-Pantoja, PGY-4, on receiving the 2026–27 NREF Research Fellowship Grant.
His research will focus on spinal cord injury and the development of targeted immunotherapies and emerging technologies in neurosurgery

Using advanced minimally invasive spine techniques, Dr. Thompson and Dr. Ogunlade recently performed a pars fracture repair.
Smaller incisions, enhanced visualization, and a focus on preserving spinal motion reflect our commitment to safer surgery and better patient outcomes.
Despite suffering an injury months before the race, an 80-year-old STL woman completed the 2025 Boston Marathon. Her recovery was made possible by our very own Dr. Ogunlade, whose care enabled her to return to running and achieve this feat.
