Can’t lie to you. If you don’t make a move, you will see literal clowns race past you. Clowns.
Nothing concern life with ‘I am a smart, educated, experienced person’.
You don’t act, you remain there.
To reduce your stress, try not to have strong and loud opinions about everything.
Smart people are selectively ignorant about most things, and focused on some things.
The hardest pill to swallow isn’t failure. it’s accepting that some doors were never meant to stay open.Taking an L will break ur heart before it builds ur wisdom. But once u embrace the lesson, you stop chasing what’s already letting you go.

We back NMFP because the science demands it.
People pay attention to the Amazon. To the Congo Basin. Those are the forests that appear in climate conversations, in policy briefs, in the public imagination. Montane forests rarely make that list.
Professor Hazel Chapman, who founded NMFP after decades of studying tropical forests, is direct about what that oversight costs us. African montane forests make up just 8% of the continent's forest cover. But they hold endemic species found nowhere else, they are the sources of the rivers that millions of people depend on, and they help regulate the climate for entire regions.
And then there is the carbon finding. A study conducted across Africa, with Ngel Nyaki as one of its sites, found that Afromontane forests store more carbon per unit area than Amazonian forests. In Chapman's words: a real surprise. One that reframes what these overlooked ecosystems are actually worth.
The altitude is not incidental. Cooler temperatures slow decomposition. Soils accumulate carbon at rates that lowland forests cannot match. The forest canopy captures moisture directly from passing clouds, feeding river systems that supply the communities and agricultural land below.
Therefore, we support NMFP because protecting Ngel Nyaki is an investment in regional climate resilience.
