Former Worcestershire County Cllr for Tenbury, & Cabinet Member, Economy and Infrastructure. All comments are purely personal views. Now alone, but still Tory
@herdyshepherd1 Good luck James! Just reading Pastoral! We need people like you in this strange country.
Having chemo treatment as medics a bit pessimistic!
All the best, Ken Pollock
@ChairmanWorcscc @MalvernHillsCAB@worcscc Well done Kyle! An honour for all concerned and well done to you in particular. Good for Worcestershire! Ken Pollock
I have just emailed my MP to ask them to ensure that the UK Government delivers on its pledge to ban live exports of animals to slaughter. Please do the same to support World Horse Welfare on their mission to #StopHorseSmuggling https://t.co/CBBOjhFhBB
@JustStop_Oil@griffics_play@metpoliceuk You are unbelievably naive in your foolish belief that stopping oil will do any good plus you think you face a “catastrophe”!
What exactly do you think will happen?
Why are you and your friends not asked these simple questions and then examine the answers! Probably unbelievable
@Climatius_@DaveThroup@climatemessages@COP28_UAE Given that the bridge was designed for exactly this sort of water flow, why should you imagine it is somehow presaging a catastrophe?? Typical over reaction to normal “extreme “ weather designed to scare the uninitiated. One day you will recognise that there’s no cause for alarm
“I have often described the United Kingdom as a “community of communities”; an island nation in which our shared values are the force which holds us together, reminding us that there is far, far more that unites us than divides us.”
@AllisonPearson@BBCJustinR@BBCNews Allison, 100% with you on this. I complained to BBC Today & copied in Justin. Sent him an email & got a conciliatory reply. All emails copied to Tim Davie, the DG. Rowlatt bound by the BBC's decision to only broadcast comments that support the normal belief in climate change
Net Zero was passed into law by Theresa May without anyone knowing what it would cost and what it would mean. Hence the need to stop it now! Abandon Net Zero Policy - Sign the Petition! https://t.co/9K0Di33sn9 via @UKChange
@mattwridley Brilliant as usual. Storage of electricity is the great mystery in its production and use. Cost? immense! Losses going into and coming out of storage never mentioned! More honest engineers needed, and fewer starry-eyed environmental activists...
@EcoSenseNow 100% with you on that, but you are fighting a religion and logic does not count for religious beliefs. How does one counter a cult? No easy answers, I'm afraid...
@toadmeister Outrageous and just the sort of thing the new head of the Met was talking about. Any decent policemen across the land will know this sort of thing is wrong. 250,000 "Non-crime hate incidents" investigated by the police - all taking time from catching "criminals"!!!
@FreedomNTV How terribly sad that "protest" is taken to include delaying fellow citizens - most of whom would have no idea about what is going on. Impressed that it never got violent! What has "democracy" got to do with it? And how did they get there, without using fossil fuels???
Very sound assessment by Dr Pielke of results one would not normally question...In reality, despite their origins, they prove unreliable! Global and U.S. Disaster Databases, by @RogerPielkeJr https://t.co/7LpcQj1jEF
@TiceRichard@SadiqKhan Note that Khan is reluctant to talk numbers. London's air pollution has been hugely reduced over the last 50 years. The original ULEZ reduced NO2 by 2.5%, PM2.5 probably went up. Switch to heavier EVs and it will go up. The 4000 deaths a year is fantasy - look up QUALYs!
