Pakistan volleyball star Usman Faryad Ali: "Sixty-four years of resilience, sacrifice, and relentless hard work culminated in this very moment. Holding the Asian Games Bronze is a reminder that dreams, when backed by clinical execution, do come true. This belongs to every single Pakistani who believed in us. We are back on the map."🏐✨
CM Punjab Youth Games, Khelta Punjab Games, Pink Games and what not. Punjab should not be spending millions on multi-sport events that offer athletes little in terms of long-term pathways. I have hardly seen any top-level athletes emerge from these games. With sports resources already scarce, those millions could instead go towards facilities that need immediate attention, better coaching and equipment, and working with federations to identify, develop and support athletes with genuine potential.
According to the CPSP material placed before the court, after approximately 18 hours of work, doctors develop psychomotor dysfunction equivalent to a blood alcohol level of 0.05. At 24 hours of continuous duty, the impairment was stated to be equivalent to a blood alcohol level of 0.1. The document questioned the safety of expecting an exhausted doctor to make critical decisions or perform medical procedures after such prolonged duty.
The CPSP comments also state that tired doctors make more mistakes than doctors who are fresh, alert and properly supervised. The stated objective, according to the document, should therefore be to reduce working hours to a level that allows for a healthy work-life balance for staff and ensures safe care for patients.

Jason Gillespie once again criticizes Aaqib Javed.
The appointment of Aaqib Javed fundamentally altered the landscape. From that moment, my relationship with Pakistan cricket completely changed. Aaqib came in and took over. It appeared to me that he was in charge of absolutely everything.
I went from looking after the Test side, managing that and looking after the players and the staff, and having a role in selection, to then having absolutely no role in anything.
The whole experience just deflated me and put me off coaching. It affected me mentally, made me doubt myself, and left me thinking about whether I still wanted to be involved in the sport.
I was totally disrespected and undermined, and I direct that towards Aaqib Javed.
At our first meeting, he came in with bravado, bluff, and bluster, wanting to show he was the man in charge. He said, ‘This is what we need to do.’ I listened and said, ‘OK.’ But this kept on happening, and I pushed back on a couple of his comments. I just felt from that moment on that it wasn’t going to work because he’d already decided what he was going to do. There was going to be no collaboration whatsoever.
Aaqib had the support of the chairman and the board, and that’s why he felt he was untouchable. As a coach, you feel compromised. He was not a collaborative chairman of selectors. He doesn’t take on other people’s ideas, thoughts, or opinions. He might think he does, but he doesn’t. It was his way or the highway.
He just does what he wants because he is allowed to, due to his close relationship with the chairman. That’s not an environment that I wanted to work in or be a part of. I don’t know many self-respecting people who would want to work in that environment." (The Telegraph)
After this humiliating defeat today in Women’s Asia Cup , are we sending back 7 women cricketers home ? Just for information, Mr Mohsin Naqvi had stopped in Dubai to meet our women cricket team. The result for everyone to see
This is so funny. He can walk fine. But when he plays a 2mph underarm OFF THE FRONT FOOT he has to lift his back leg off the ground when there is no pressure on that leg . He is faking it !!! No doubt in my mind
Adding my support here to GC and the other former international captains. I hope the court ordered medical assessment be allowed to run its course, and that family visits continue. I hope Imran Khan is treated with the dignity anyone deserves
I was waiting for this type of tweet. Why hasn’t anyone blamed Pashtuns, Afghans, or Fitna-tul-Hindustan yet?
But here we are, Patwaran is blaming Pashtuns and GB people for this incident who are working there, but they will not blame their own government, which has been in power for almost three years.
Another Video where the Karnal Rani is literally slapping a male student.
She tried her best to instigate the students but they showed utmost restraint and handled the situation like gentlemen.
🚨 Pakistan coach Bob Veldhof never wanted to go to Pakistan again 🚨
"I experienced in Pakistan that I only received my money right before my flight home, in an envelope. I looked inside and thought: this isn't even a tenth of what I'm supposed to get. We don't have any more, they would say. Two hours later I was on the plane. I could kiss the rest goodbye," Bob told https://t.co/nmS8508AM2.
But the very man who had sworn off Pakistan for good has complete confidence in the new chairman, Mohiuddin Ahmad Wani, who, according to him, genuinely wants to break with the past.
"Six weeks ago, he suddenly called me. He had a good story, and I noticed that the government was getting on board seriously as well. I saw documents showing that they really wanted to implement changes. That's when I thought: I'm up for this," he said.
Veldhof soon discovered that the fine words were being turned into deeds remarkably quickly this time. He sent Wani a photo of the video tower in Den Bosch, purely as an example of what he needed at the training complex in Islamabad. "A day later, I walked onto the field. Suddenly, there were two video towers."
In the 'new' Pakistan, nothing seems too crazy. "At our first training session, we only had five balls. Two days later, there were 150 Kookaburra balls from Australia. Things like that are suddenly happening now,' he says with a laugh. 'We have now also ordered a large package with all kinds of software, measuring equipment, and other technology. That costs a few hundred thousand. I never thought in the past that something like that would be paid for just like that."

Increase Muhammad Abbas's contract. Pay him more. Put him in brand advertisements. Do PR for him. Conduct his interviews. Turn him into a star. Set an example. Tell your young and new cricketers how performing well in Test cricket is rewarded. Tell them how it is something many T20 stars cannot master. Tell them that Test cricket will be valued. I swear, you will see a better trend of players embracing Test cricket.
Thousands gathered in Rawalakot before marching towards Muzaffarabad as protests over governance and electoral reforms continued ahead of regional elections.
