“The road to hell is paved with good intentions.”
The Sri Lanka disaster started with an ill-advised ban on agricultural chemicals in a bid to go “all organic” last year.
The conventional wisdom was that this was better for human and planetary health. 1/
Sri Lanka’s sudden economic collapse has broken its healthcare system. Sonia Sarkar reports on how the country might claw back years of progress, lost in months: https://t.co/KeUuYqFzus @sonia_26
Imagine waiting months to see a dermatologist for a suspicious spot, only to be told you have to schedule a SECOND visit just to get the biopsy done.
Proposed Medicare cuts to Modifier 25 will kill same-day procedures & delay cancer care. Patients deserve better. #FixMedicare
@DrLizaMD Courage to say this. Conflating legitimate pain management with criminal prescribing did enormous harm. Doctors need to listen to patients before more damage is done.
If I knew then what I know now, I would have thought about things very differently.
I hope other doctors will be willing enough to sit down with the other side to hear a different perspective.
We’re constantly asked to put ourselves in other people’s shoes.
The moment is here.👇🏽
Are you an RN? NP? PA? A doctor? A nurse? A clinical social worker? A psychiatrist? A psychologist? A licensed ‘anything medical’?
You might be shocked & enraged
to see how you TOO will be treated by the very medical-industrial complex you worked for…
I suspect this was an activist class action grift. And now it is much more difficult and expensive to get simple talc powder.
As a sweaty man from the Midwest I hate this.
I don't get J&J.
They had the Predatorts hanging, with a series of losses and no scientific evidence.
They won the talc extortion campaign.
They could have bankrupted the bastards given how leveraged they are to the litigation finance loan sharks.
Then they settled for $5 billion
Please don’t take this the wrong way - but I’ve got a bridge to sell you.
The editors should be held accountable for their politicization of the journals as well.
This dates all the way back to the Wakefield scandal - brought to us by The Lancet.
The backstory is MIND-blowing & the fact that it wasn’t fully retracted for 12 years despite massive conflicts of interest is very telling…
If you’re interested, I can put together a thread with receipts.
"A scientist who wants to change the world in a particular direction is no longer beholden to the truth. They are beholden to a cause...This is why I have come to believe that science and activism cannot mix. It is a plain conflict of interest."
Agroecology, take note.
This morning, I took advantage of the calm conditions and flew my drone over the Jupiter Inlet. The ocean was glass calm, the water was crystal clear, and visibility from the air was incredible.
While flying, I spotted a manta ray gracefully gliding just outside the inlet. A few moments later, I found a spotted eagle ray cruising through the same area, making for another amazing morning on the water.
After the flight, I shared the manta ray footage with a scientist friend who studies manta rays. She recognized this individual from previous sightings and shared several fascinating details about its history and identification that I include in this video.
I hope you enjoy this incredible glimpse of two of Florida's most majestic rays!
Apparently there are exceptions that precede this administration👇🏽
“As the health IT ‘ecosystem’ grew, hundreds of enterprises gained access to private patient health information, without patients’ full knowledge and often without any strong justification for their ‘need to know.’

As someone who saw Covid right from the very start it's quite remarkable to see history totally rewritten and whitewashed
It was a terrifying new virus we knew nothing about that was overwhelming intensive care units
It was scary as hell
Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, and East Germany eliminated their government-run grocery stores between 1989-1990.
The Soviet Union eliminated them between 1991-1992.
Vietnam eliminated them in 1986.
Yugoslavia eliminated them in 1991.
China began eliminating them in the late 1970s.
Cuba began eliminating them in 2021.
Every attempt in Western capitalist countries has failed, most recently in Chicago.
But Mamdani has somehow cracked the code.
“This could never happen again, we won’t stand for book burning again…”—2026
It already is happening, Anthropic is burning books so no other AI can have them…
This is The Great Forgetting.
Covid killed millions
Ivermectin did nothing
Covid vaccines saved millions of lives
Lockdowns were very damaging for many people yes I will give you that
I'm prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you are truly mistaken rather than being dishonest
