Middle School schedules are fascinating. You want to construct one to support learning, but they all seem to have some awkward block of time that only exists to support a mixed grade band/chorus ensemble. If you have a great a middle school schedule please share!
The age old question... what in the world does an 85 mean on a report card? Do you know a lot and you are bad at paperwork or good at paperwork but really don’t know much. We have to move to grading for mastery. #CPSLearns01510
#CPSLearns01510 - We need to change the idea in high schools that you earn credit based on the time you spend in a class. Credit for time served is a prison model. We need focus on deep authentic learning in a way that our current structures don’t support.
