Comment: Bill 36 treats doctors as adversaries instead of allies

Too few have woken up to the consequences to this draconian legislation.

It puts full control of health professional regulation in the hands of an untouchable govt with virtually unlimited powers to stifle dissent without oversight.

If puts an end to the too-few doctors and other health professionals who may have stood up for patient access or called out system failures and inadequacies.

It opens the door to frivolous complaints and allows investigators appointed by fully-controlled government-appointed boards to access any patient record anywhere.

And if you think it won't have an effect on the care you get, what health professionals do to support patients, or how many health professionals decide to exit the profession, you're kidding yourself.

Dangerous overreach. Coming into effect April 1st. Not a joke.
