The Government and People of Puntland wish to firmly reject and condemn the recent false reports circulating in the media, alleging that aircraft originating from Bosaso are involved in military operations or bombings in Sudan.

These claims are completely baseless and fabricated. They appear to be part of a deliberate campaign of misinformation and propaganda aimed at undermining the dignity and reputation of the people of Puntland, particularly the residents of Bosaso the vibrant commercial capital of our region.

We emphasize that:
•No aircraft have taken off from Bosaso for any such purpose.
•There is no evidence whatsoever supporting these allegations.
•The United Nations Ambassador to Sudan has made no statement or report suggesting that any flights from Puntland are connected to the conflict in Sudan.

Bosaso remains a center of peaceful trade, development, and international cooperation. Puntland continues to stand for regional stability, mutual respect, and truth in all communications and diplomatic relations.

We call upon all media outlets and organizations to exercise professionalism, verify their information before publication, and refrain from spreading unverified or politically motivated claims.
