Today, alongside MCAs, we flagged off 3,000 additional desks and chairs for distribution across the county

Together with other leaders and gospel music fans, we this afternoon graced celebrations to mark the Golden Jubilee of our Kalenjin gospel music legend Joel Kimetto at Kiprugut Chumo Stadium, Kericho Town.
I urge our communities who have lived as brothers and sisters for generations to choose dialogue and peace over violence. I’m engaging leaders, including Kisumu Governor Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o and security teams, to help restore calm.
Peace must prevail.
Deeply saddened by the escalation of conflict at the Kericho–Kisumu border in Thesalia, Bangla, and Bogwo, with reported injuries and loss of life. My condolences to affected families and wishes for quick recovery to the injured.

We’ve today distributed 500,000 coffee, 300,000 tea, 50,000 avocado, 5,000 pyrethrum seeds, plus 400,000 tree seedlings under the Presidential One Billion Trees initiative, and established community seedbeds in Keongo and Kaitui.
Steady progress on the KSh 358M Non-Communicable Disease Centre at Kericho County Referral Hospital.
Once complete, it will feature a modern oncology centre, radiology unit, inpatient wards, isolation cubes, a 7-bed ICU, theatre, burns unit, offices, and specialist rooms.
