Announcing Our Partnership with Qatar Charity Foundation

Partnerships between state governments and development organizations are essential to accelerating grassroots progress, improving service delivery, and reaching vulnerable populations. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) bring expertise, innovation, and community trust, while governments provide the enabling environment, policy support, and resources to ensure lasting impact.

In line with this belief, I was pleased today to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Katsina State Government and Qatar Charity Nigeria, further strengthening our long-standing collaboration to improve the lives of our people, especially women, children, youth, and vulnerable groups.

This MoU marks a new phase in our partnership focused on education, healthcare, empowerment, and social development. I sincerely appreciate Qatar Charity, under the leadership of the Country Director, Mr.Assem Abu Al Shaer, for their continued support and generosity toward Katsina State.

As part of this renewed commitment, Qatar Charity has pledged to donate medical equipment, including Electronic Blood Pressure Machines for over 200 renovated Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Electric Wheelchairs for 15 General Hospitals across the state.

Our administration remains fully committed to implementing the provisions of the MoU with transparency, accountability, and measurable impact, ensuring that every intervention reaches those who need it most.

This partnership aligns perfectly with our "Building Your Future" development agenda, anchored on human capital development, institutional strengthening and inclusive opportunities for all citizens.

Katsina State Government Signs MoU with Qatar Charity Foundation

The Katsina State Government unde the leadership of Dr. @dikko_radda, has signed an MoU with the Qatar Charity Foundation, in an effort to strengthen collaboration on development projects aimed at improving the welfare of women, youth, children, and vulnerable groups across the state.

As part of the partnership, the Qatar Charity Foundation announced an additional donation of electronic blood pressure machines for renovated primary health care centers and electrical wheelchairs for 15 general hospitals in Katsina State.

The MoU outlines cooperation in areas such as education, healthcare, economic empowerment, housing for the indigent, food security, and emergency relief, reflecting the shared goal of both parties to enhance the living standards of Katsina citizens.
