Businesses do not suffer because of peaceful protests. They suffer when the govt decides to shut down an entire city, suspend internet services and restrict the movement of its own citizens and turn the city into a war-zone.

Since its inception, the Cockroach Janta Party has maintained that we will always follow Gandhi’s path of peace and non-violence, and we have stood by that commitment. We have organised protests in Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bengaluru and Nagpur, and every single one of them has been peaceful. I was personally assaulted in Jaipur, but even then, I chose not to retaliate because responding to violence with violence goes against everything we believe in. We would rather exercise the rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution, drafted under the leadership of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, than resort to physical force. Our strength comes from our commitment to constitutional values, and no amount of provocation will make us abandon them.

Despite this, there are constant attempts to portray us as anarchists simply because we refuse to remain silent. But demanding answers from the govt is not anarchy, protesting against injustice on the streets is not anarchy, and questioning those who hold public office is certainly not anarchy. These are the most fundamental expressions of democracy. The very party that is in power today spent decades organising protests, taking to the streets and questioning the governments of the day when it was in opposition. Had the same restrictions, intimidation and police crackdowns been used against them, many of those who occupy positions of power today might never have reached where they are. It is deeply hypocritical to celebrate protests as a democratic right when you are in opposition and treat the same act as a threat to public order when you come to power.

We are not asking for privileges or special treatment. We are simply asking to exercise the rights that belong to every citizen of this Republic, irrespective of which party is in power. So let us fulfil our duty as citizens of this country by questioning those we elect, demanding accountability and speaking up whenever we witness injustice.

A govt that has been elected by the people is bound to listen to the people, not silence them. Democracy does not end once the votes have been counted.

What a real shame you are to this nation, @DelhiPolice!

Choking, scratching, and kicking female @NSUI student with heavy boots in broad daylight just because they dared to raise their voices against vote chori?

You hide behind uniforms and state power to inflict physical violence and grotesque humiliation on young women who pose no threat to anyone.

Day after day, your bosses preach hypocritical nonsense about women's safety, respect, and protection, yet the exact second those same women demand democratic rights and accountability, you unleash your inner animals upon them.

Dragging them by their hair, crushing them under heavy boots, and assaulting their bodily integrity exposes the absolute rot at the heart of this system. You really think a badge gives you a free pass to act like violent goon with absolute impunity?

Suspensions and internal inquiries are a complete joke.
Accountability isn't enough anymore every single officer involved in this cowardly assault needs to be fired and brought to justice .

They are dancing in RSS Uniform and in centre Madhavi is behaving like a bhagwaa Flag(Guru) of RSS.

If you still doubt think TMKOC is not propaganda, then you have already fallen for the propaganda.

[Rahul Gandhi @RahulGandhi]

Yesterday, the nation's young came out in Delhi to peacefully protest. They came with love in their hearts, not hatred or anger. They were beaten, both by cops and BJP goons.

This is not the India we want.

Tomorrow, we will march to the Supreme Court as Indians, united beyond party, gender, caste, community and state.

Youth, all opposition parties, civil society groups, all those who believe in democracy and stand by the Constitution of India, will walk with us.

We will submit a memorandum to the Chief Justice on behalf of the nation, demanding an end to vote chori, halting of SIR and the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar.

Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Ajit Doval and Mohan Bhagwat cannot silence India's voice. These cowards cannot intimidate us. They will have to step aside.

We will march together, with love, brotherhood and patriotism.

Daro mat.

Tomorrow, all of India will march to the Supreme Court.

Thiruvananthapuram, Keralam: State Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala ordered a Vigilance investigation into the case involving Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, relating to allegations of irregularities during his tenure as the state’s Public Works Department Secretary in 2006. The case pertains to the death by suicide of Malaysian civil engineer Lee See Been, who was associated with the PATI-BEL consortium involved in the upgradation of MC Road under the Keralam State Transport Project. His suicide note reportedly mentioned Gyanesh Kumar. The investigation is being initiated following allegations that external pressure was exerted and the original inquiry was derailed. State Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has directly instructed the Vigilance Director to conduct a thorough inquiry into allegations of external influence in the case involving Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and take appropriate action based on the findings: HMO
