Spent time with our partners the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in Arizona outside of Phoenix this afternoon - joined by our partners from the Salt River Reservation, White Mountain Apache Tribe, Cocopah Tribe, Hopi Tribe, Fort Mojave Tribe, Tonto Apache Tribe, and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.

This was a chance for us to discuss personnel needs, unsolved crime, our violent crime crackdown, tech advancements, taking deadly narcotics off the streets, and the ways in which this @FBI can build on our historic surge with tribal partners.

In April 2026, we launched Operation Steadfast Promise, our first of its kind durational campaign to crush violent crime on Tribal Lands. We now have over 400 agents + staff dedicated to working Indian Country, with 29 Task Forces - the FBI's largest ever commitment. This historic effort comes on the heels of the hugely successful Operation Not Forgotten last year where we had over 1,000 arrests and found over 450 child victims across Tribal Lands. The Salt River Reservation is a huge part of that work.

For far too long, these communities have been left forgotten, but that is over with this FBI. Thanks to Salt River President Martin Harvier for hosting us.

When you see an indictment come out — it doesn't mean the investigation started that day. Grand juries can run from one month all the way to 18 months in complex cases.

You had NO IDEA the SPLC was being investigated. No idea about their grand jury. No idea about ANY of it.

When the STORM of indictments drops — it will be because Pam Bondi impaneled those grand juries a long time ago. You just didn't know. That was the point.
