@RoyallyBelle_ When despite everything and everyone around you determined to plan your entire future, you still choose to marry for the right reasons..
Whatever else you may think about the British Royal Family, there's no question they got at least one Right.
We most definitely do not need to "unite as a party." We need to argue (and primary RINOs) as much as it takes to preserve the conservative wins we've gained under @GovRonDeSantis.
Our legislative leadership (aka the Amnesty Caucus) has deviated from the GOP platform, not us. I will not be uniting with them.
He's right. History does show that Trump is wrong on tariffs and if you don't want Dems elected in '26 and '28, you better hope that Trump dumps his foolish tariff policies. https://t.co/ir1EhPp2PV
Somewhere along the way, the word “conservative” got hijacked. It’s now being worn like a costume by people whose actions scream the opposite of what conservatism actually stands for.
Conservatism isn’t about owning the libs or tweeting rage porn all day. It’s not about loyalty to one man. It’s about principles — timeless ones — and too many of today’s loudest voices are trampling them.
Conservatism means limited government — not a president who tries to strong-arm private companies, dictate monetary policy by TS posts, and expand executive power every chance he gets.
It means fiscal responsibility — not trillion-dollar deficits in a booming economy, reckless trade wars, or $2 trillion tax cuts without any serious attempt to rein in spending.
It means rule of law — not cheering when the law is bent for allies and weaponized against enemies. Not trying to overturn elections or excuse attacks on democratic institutions.
It means personal responsibility and character — not glorifying a man who dodged accountability at every turn, made cruelty a virtue, and treated integrity like a weakness.
Donald Trump is not a conservative. He’s a populist opportunist who used the label for power, not for principle. And too many followed because it felt good in the moment — because anger is easy and governance is hard.
But real conservatism?
It’s about discipline, humility, freedom, and respect for the institutions that hold this country together. It’s about protecting the Constitution — not bending it to fit your grievance. It’s about building a better future with steady hands, not burning it all down with reckless ones.
If we care about conservatism, we need to reclaim it. Loudly. Because if we let it be defined by Trump, it dies.
@NPR_HQ New Patriot Rebellion is actively working to do just that. We're a grassroots political org with chapters across the US with members who have been red pilled into action to stop this chicanery that's been used over and over by Trump and his MAGA band of sycophants to remake the Republican Party in their populist image.
Join us and get active by becoming a member. For too long the Left has wielded the activist torch and gotten the Democrat Party to take notice. It's our turn to get the Republican leadership to listen to us and inform voters to stop nominating these populist charlatans into office. Let's do this, conservatives! Let's take back our party!
@realtedkirby@JDunlap1974@BrendaD6307 The Constitution dictates it.
It's amazing how ill-informed so many people are about enumerated Constitutional powers..
It's become obvious from the posts on this site lately, that most Americans have so little understanding of the Constitution that they are patently unfit to make any kind of informed choices at the ballot box.
And that is Precisely how we ended up where we are today.
