very odd how friday night lights keeps feeling the need to drastically change things between every season. i feel like both s1 and 2 end on good notes that are just instantly ruined when you hit play on the next episode. it’s a little annoying but as long as the result is good…

interesting that most of my anime picks are films but i think things like akira, your name, cagliostro and blue giant just had really big impacts on me, especially at a young age for the first three. cagliostro kinda covers all lupin bases for me tho too important of a franchise

it’s a really weird season because i think it’s still engaging to watch but it makes a lot of turns that make you go “idk. i guess so.” but i still really love the characters so i shall stick with it…

i can’t stop thinking about that lanterns episode the whole show has been great but man that entire episode was just perfect in my eyes.

a bit overpriced at $20 but still a good time. new levels and forms are great, wish each world had one more tho. graphical upgrade didnt really feel noticeable tbh so would be a really weak upgrade without the entire expansion. new tourney is cool, wish it had more new bosses

really disappointed that the new stages only take like an hour and a half (even tho they’re very good), don’t see this being extended too much by the extra content either. i think this 100% should’ve been $10 at most.
