The red hourglass marking would be on the abdomen, and it did not occur to me to take the time to flip this thing over. I am having a hard time finding out if all black widows have red spots on top or not. Well, either way it's outside now. Just hope there's not more hiding :(

Won 6 tickets to the local theme park, plus some extra goodies. Pretty awesome when you're 14! There was some other contest I did in middle school, making a poster to promote can recycling. I drew a bunch of people crushing cans, including an astronaut and MC Hammer.

I won a big set of crayons from one. There was this other contest put on by a radio station, drawing a picture of your grandparents. I drew a mushroom with legs, and some other plant person, and won, probably because it was entertaining to whoever the judge was.
