Spoke in the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) session at the international conference organized in Chennai by the Commonwealth Medical Association. AMR is causing deaths of hundreds of thousands of people around the world each year. Experts from over fifty countries participated.

I am in Philadelphia to participate in the World AMR Congress. Microorganisms becoming resistant to drugs, including antibiotics, have created a major global health crisis. Efforts to address this are underway globally. World AMR Congress is also a part of it.
