Now I want to do cataract surgeries for free, I don’t know how I will do it but it will be done.

65 FREE SURGERIES FOR 65 CHILDREN

Yesterday, I attended the final follow-up clinic and appreciation programme at Mother Mary Hospital, Isolo, Lagos, following the successful completion of 65 free surgeries for children to mark my 65th birthday.

I am deeply grateful to God Almighty for guiding the medical team throughout the process and for granting all 65 children safe and successful surgeries.

The surgeries, led by Dr Folaseye Adebayo and her dedicated team, included adenotonsillectomy. This procedure removes enlarged or chronically infected tonsils and adenoids, which can cause breathing difficulties, recurrent infections, and sleep-related problems in children.

What made the occasion particularly touching was listening to parents share their testimonies and hearing how these procedures have improved their children’s health and quality of life.

My profound appreciation goes to @DrFolaseye Adebayo and her entire team, the hospital management, the parents, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible.

For me, birthdays are not merely occasions for celebration. They are opportunities to give back, touch lives, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

I thank God for the privilege of being part of this initiative and, most importantly, for the gift of 65 healthy and hopeful children.

May God continue to bless all those who dedicate their lives to saving and improving the lives of others.

It was nothing short of draconian rule with Sanusi as the GS of NFF for almost 12years

✳️Leon Balogun was ostracised from the team for daring to speak up for the team and never got called up again.

✳️Desire Oparanozie, the captain, and top striker was exiled from Super Falcons for three years because she fought for her teammates as the leader.

✳️Tochukwu Oluehi was banished from the team because she spoke out, not publicly but at a team meeting, after the same NFF asked the ladies to speak up about their concerns. She was made to write a letter of apology before allowing her to come back to the Super Falcons.

✳️The "911" Resignation of Captain Troost-Ekong from The Super Eagles left so many questions than answers.

✳️The junior team consistently got ‘warned’ never to discuss with the media or they get blacklisted.

🟣Let’s not delve into how questionable players were forced on local coaches and made National Teams at the expense of those who worked hard and ideally should have earned an invitation to wear the badge.

🔵The Super Falcons got ZERO preparations for Olympics2024 because Randy’s list was untouchable, especially the refusal to add two veterans who were not going to add value to the team anyway. He sabotaged the entire country at will, just to please his ego.

🟠Randy Waldrum’s assistant, Lauren Gregg, a two-time World Cup winner, and an Olympic winner with Team USA was yanked off the Team list of 2023 World Cup because Randy refused to take his U-20 Goalkeeper candidate.

The list of atrocious, cruel, mean, and harsh treatment the National Teams and those not in his good books suffered is better imagined than experienced.

🟢An entire Nation was consistently sabotaged courtesy of the highhandedness of one human being who practically turned himself into a thin god at NFF.

🟡A man who almost turned himself into a lifetime ‘General Secretary” but for mercy and the voices of FEW honourable people in the sports Industry.

He forgot the evil that men do lives after them…..
