[Everyday Astronaut @Erdayastronaut]

I have to gush for a moment. These are a few still frames from some of our videos we're releasing in about 10 hours... and WOW... I am SOOO proud of our team. They've worked TIRELESSLY for YEARS now to capture these once-in-a-life-time moments and what they delivered from Flight 5 (the first booster catch) is simply phenomenal!

I've had doubts, we've had questions, we've been tired, we've debated if it's all worth it, we've debated if our approach was right. We have calls, meetings, chats to go over what went right and wrong and what can be improved for the next launch.

Every launch we've iterated on our gear and process, and it's been hard. To a small degree, I can related to what the @SpaceX teams might go through with each launch and upgrade of Starship. But every time, we re-invest, fix up, redo, and upgrade every step of our process. It's been far from perfect, and we had very rough start when switching to 4K livestreams... But our team has been so resilient, dedicated and positive about the next step. Every time.

I want this to be a heartfelt reminder that even when things don't seem perfect and when you're in the middle of a big project where you feel like giving up, sometimes that's the perfect opportunity to rethink, refocus and double down.

THANK YOU to the Everyday Astronaut and @considercosmos (Cosmic Perspective) team. You all amaze me every day.

AND THANK YOU to those of you who help us make this all possible. The super chats, the X subscribers, YouTube Members, Patrons, those who buy merch, those who like and subscribe (as cliche as it is), it all means a lot and goes right back into this beautiful machine that helps us capture these historic moments as best as we possibly can. We thank you for entrusting us!!!

Ok, enough gushing, love you all! Enjoy the Flight 5 compilation tomorrow!!!

Starship’s fifth flight test lifted off with our most ambitious test objectives yet as we work to demonstrate techniques fundamental to Starship and Super Heavy’s fully and rapidly reusable design.
