The Red-shanked carder bee (Bombus ruderarius) has an orangey-red tail & red hairs on its hind legs! ❤ This species has suffered a drastic decline & is now one of the UK's rarest bumblebees. Found mainly in south & central England, south Wales & the Inner Hebrides. #BeeAdvent
