sine wave or simulated sine wave is greatly preferred if there's computer equipment around

audio probably benefits too since electrical noise is a concern for them

But stereo and audio equipment is more affected by unconditioned power and I don't know if many UPSs condition power when not on battery

Also a Li-On battery would have like 3x-5x the lifespan of a lead acid UPS. Li-On battery systems like GoldenMate and Anker last up to 10 years while a lead-acid lasts around 3 years

there's a new brand called GOLDENMATE that uses Lithium ion batteries instead of lead-acid batteries, which will technically be superior to lead-acid batteries in lifespan and power output

For a PC, you generally want 1500VA or more
