@PeyoteFB@SholdonDaniels@grok Well, the law doesn’t have feelings.
You have to legitimately fear for your life to use deadly force in self defense.
It ends there.
Self defense will not play a role in the trial. He used deadly force over being pushed. Aggressor or not.
@PeyoteFB@SholdonDaniels@grok As I said in another tweet, yeah over a tent is a dumb thing.
But he was pushed at the most, it still doesn’t justify bringing a knife and using it. Thats just a fact brother.
@PeyoteFB@SholdonDaniels@grok I don’t disagree it was stupid, yeah that’s a dumb ass reason to lose your life. Like I said before though, coaches normally don’t allow people in their tents, or visa versa. Karmelo could’ve absolutely went to his own tent as well though.
@PeyoteFB@SholdonDaniels@grok When I was on probation as a teen, I was told by my probation officer to take three punches, before it could be considered self defense, because I was prone to fighting when I was younger.
It does not justify stabbing.
@PeyoteFB@SholdonDaniels@grok Eh, I really just wish none of it happened in the first place. We can absolutely agree to disagree.
He pushed him first yes, you can consider him an aggressor, the degree of defensive force is the concern. A push, doesn’t equal murder.
Fun fact, see next tweet below 👇 (cont)
@PeyoteFB@SholdonDaniels@grok The statements made from Karmelo doesn’t paint the other athletes as bully’s. In track, it’s not normal to go to other schools tents and hang out. Your coaches generally don’t allow that.
They told him to leave, he said “touch me and find out”. Listen to official news.
@PeyoteFB@SholdonDaniels@grok I can only go off the witness testimony’s dude.
He wasn’t jumped by anyone. I’ve actually been jumped by 6 black dudes when I was a kid, lol. If you’re being jumped like I was, you can’t pull a weapon. Friends with all of them now btw.
@PeyoteFB@SholdonDaniels@grok I don’t disagree with any of those you mentioned personally.
In this case, they were at a track meet, public school event, no one in their right mind would fear for their life in that scenario. It just doesn’t justify stabbing man. Punching? Yes. Pushing? Yes. Stabbing? No.
