Drystone Waller (or Drystane Dyker for the traditional Scottish) in Scotland. Field Walls, Garden Features, repairs and creations.

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

I like making stuff. I like baskets. I made a basket #gymbasket #craft #handmade

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

Had some nice sandstone blocks so built them into the wall as a seat for a bench. #craft #Garden #gardening #teabreak

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

Last day building saw a river run down the 18th fairway. Was still nice to step back and enjoy the finished product.

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

@gagasgarden thank you so much :)

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

@seanfernridge yeah - if you ever have to move/fix a wall you always feel bad for wrecking someone's wee home :)

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

@blackgoldfarm lol yeah - Dying to start building another now!! :)

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

@blackgoldfarm the stone came from a local quarry .. Took 14 tons

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

@blackgoldfarm it's hard to say - it took 6months but I built it in my spare time so maybe 10 weeks condensed?

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

@blackgoldfarm :) thank you.

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

One stretch of copes done and a hint of what it will look like completed. #golf #Stonebridge #gardenbridge #garden

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

Great wkend turning this pile of crazy random field stone into this wall. From chaos to creation. #garden #landscape

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

It's defo starting to look rather bridgy. Another couple days building then copes go on. #golf #garden #art #craft

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

@DewinCymru lol - seems straight forward enough

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

@DewinCymru that's really appreciated. Think I've built part of my soul into this bridge 😀

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

I found seeing the underside finally really satisfying! Sat under the bridge for ages looking at it. #specialmoments

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

@Blakmountphoto thank you so much

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]

[Anne @DrystaneDyker]
