गुर्ज डिवीजन के सैनिकों ने नागरिक प्रशासन के साथ समन्वय में, जम्मू क्षेत्र के कठुआ जिले के सुदूर चिल्ला गांव के निवासियों को भोजन, पानी, दवाइयां और अन्य आवश्यक आपूर्ति पहुंचाने के लिए एक ड्रोन अभियान शुरू किया.

समाचार एजेंसी के अनुसार, गुर्ज डिवीजन के सैनिक चुनौतीपूर्ण इलाकों और प्रतिकूल मौसम की स्थिति को पार करते हुए, भारवाहक ड्रोन और आवश्यक सामग्री के साथ तेज़ी से आगे बढ़े और 7 सितंबर की शाम 5 बजे तक उझ नदी के पश्चिमी किनारे पर स्थित प्लाल गांव पहुंच गए. नदी पार ड्रोन से अभियान तुरंत शुरू हुआ और देर रात तक 150 किलो राशन पहुंचाया गया.
