• Theyre starting to reduce idle/on-call time, limiting how many people can log in, concentrate deliveries among fewer Dashers, while capping overtime and losing opt-in pay-event opportunities often offered by delivery apps that workers won't be able to join, or else the company pays the city fines for "abuse".

•The payout is pennies for workers expecting a bigger individual comeup or lasting job security, and instead see tighter scheduling, higher fees, and Mamdani's cabinet looking over their shoulder.

•1000s will lose the job, those remaining may see fees cutting into payout, needing to do more deliveries to catch up, while labor restrictions prevent them from ever catching up to how it was before, and find its not even worth it. This is a Big Brother dog collaring masked as a paid-out party win.
