Newsom launched a program that spend $23 million dollars on hearing aids for kids. Sounds great, right?

5 years later only 300 hearing aids have been given out and the funds have dried up.

Retail costs for these same hearing aids is roughly $1,400. Newsom pushed lawmakers toward a state-run program instead of requiring private insurers to cover the pediatric hearing aids.

If the retail cost is $1,400 and the state only provided 300, then that’s a cost of $420,000.

Yet $23,000,000 has been spent. On what, you ask?

Well, the remaining $22,580,000 officially went to “administrative and overhead costs." So, hearing aids that should cost at full retail around $1400 each, cost CA tax payers $76,666 EACH!

That's your tax dollars at work when you allow the bloated government bureaucracy to have control. Friends and family of politicians get paid, while the tax payers get fleeced.
