So many people asking if the flu is going around right now really shows how successful governments have been at intentionally downplaying and misinforming people about COVID.
really weird watching leftist orgs who've been doing pandemic denial for a long time now jump up to do mask distros for the smog. almost like they could've been doing this all along
Welp—Remember how @CDCgov claimed there was no “outbreak” at their CDC conference 3 weeks ago? ➡️Now we learn 181 cases of #COVID19 arose of 1800+ CDC staffers/guests…. So basically 1 in 10 folks at a single CDC conference caught COVID. Yet @CDCDirector Walensky dismantles reporting and they gaslight us it was nothing. #CovidIsNotOver

@Sandyboots2020 My mother in law also has an awful case of “mystery virus” right now. Refuses to test herself for covid. Her father died last year from covid and she still acts like the pandemic was fake/no big deal. I don’t understand why so many people are like this.
@PaigePang1@Yash25571056 I’m experiencing the same thing. Mine was after a dentist appointment though, where the hygienist was coughing w/sniffles 😔 The vertigo and floating sensation are really lowering my ability to do every day tasks.
If you are recommending masks instead of requiring them, that means you know what is the right thing to do, but you'd much rather placate a minority of selfish anti-maskers instead of protecting the health of the majority.
What’s the hold up on the mask mandate, @potus? We have hospitals that can’t find beds for patients, thousands dying weekly which will only increase in the coming weeks, and many more continuing to become disabled from long covid. Time to lead on the pandemic. What’s the hold up?
@doctor_episcopa@MamaWeasleyy It's been a constant wave all year it hasn't slowed down and has mutated into new variants that aren't mild. COVID tests aren't picking up new variants and giving a false negative. Paxlovid is at 50% with rebound. We don't have the tools to just live with it.
Western leaders want to gaslight you into believing otherwise, but infinite lockdowns and doing virtually nothing about high levels of death and chronic illness are not the only COVID policy choices available.
If you’re concerned about the crush of kids getting sick with COVID/flu/RSV, there’s an intermediate strategy between doing nothing and schools going virtual. It’s a 4-letter word.
They’re really planning to just let the pediatric healthcare emergency play out without intervening… the preventable deaths of *children* are on the line and we’re really okay accepting a do-nothing approach? I really can’t process this level of apathy.
@joaquinlife I have a HEPA filter for every room of my house. I only run the living room and bed room ones continuously but if anyone comes to my house I put them all on at max power.
I'm definitely going to have to do a thread about minimizer claims that our immune systems evolved to need frequent exposure to pathogenic respiratory viruses (and therefore that we should not try to prevent infection by cleaning indoor air). It's just wrong on every level.
