@Throwaw62791677@PenseesofPascal I mean, realistically anyone with starfaring capital ships should have more than enough firepower to eradicate life on a planet.
Star Wars has planetary shields that appear to be near-invulnerable to conventional weapons, so the Death Star exists to instakill shielded worlds.
@piet_ost@VedangMurthy When using 3yr LHRH agonist, how many years is median testosterone recovery? Feels like you’d need that long of f/u plus a year or two before any difference would become apparent.
@drbeckta On the one hand you'll have no shortage of lymphoma patients.
On the other hand, a lot of them will decline radiotherapy in favor of MAID ("madness assistance in dying"), aka "WITNESS ME".
@Aedrareforged Medivh is the Guardian of Tirisfal so he is a Lock, a Mage, a Priest, and a Druid at the same time.
This is why Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian has a version for all four classes!
@SCShipyards Yeah this is like lumping together a space elevator, the Planet Magrathea, and the Taipei 101 tower to prove that the latter is physically impossible.

From a mythological / storytelling standpoint:
The “curse of forbiddance/invitation” in vampiric folklore originates as a fable for how emotionally toxic people can’t harm you unless you let them in.
Thus the vampiric curse depends entirely on the homeowner’s state of mind.
If the homeowner had no idea there might be a search warrant and the vampire tries to go in, they’ll be magically forbidden.
But if the homeowner knew about the search warrant, or they knew they’d committed a crime that would likely result in a search warrant, then the vampire could walk right in.
This would work even if the vampire bluffed and didn’t have a legal warrant, because it’s the homeowner’s state of mind that triggers a curse of forbiddance.
@Aelthemplaer They have a planet that naturally farms astrophage, which is 1000x more energy dense than nukes
They don’t need fission or fusion to possess planet cracking destructive power
