@jasonrantz Looks fantastic! It’s totally going to add to the quirky charm of Seattle. 😊 Thank you @CMLGonzalez@cmkshama and @D5Juarez for this wonderful contribution to our city!!! @SeattleCouncil is THE BEST!!!!
Commentary: In times of crisis, sometimes what leaders don't say speaks louder than what they do say.
Like @GovInslee's claim to be blissfully unaware of the events unfolding in Seattle. (1/3) #TheDivide
@ahfrankson@jasonrantz@MayorJenny I agree, things are have been going in the wrong direction for a long time. I just don’t know what else the mayor was supposed to do.
@Pengologist@CMLGonzalez@LillyAFowler@KromanDavid This should be reported on, if it’s true. What should also be reported on is a more diverse opinion on defunding/reforming/abolishing the police. Hundreds of thousands of people live in Seattle, all voices should be considered.
@LillyAFowler@KromanDavid@dorothy_edwards@SarahJHoffman Could you follow up to this with interviews with leaders in the policing community, homeowners, small business owners? Surely, this must be only the first part of the article?
@CMLGonzalez So where is the dialogue in your process as a city leader? This is an article written about a small group of people that agree with each other. Is this what the general population in Seattle wants? Do you know what they think?
@LillyAFowler@NikkitaOliver@CMLGonzalez@AfricatownCLT @WhyICHOOSE180 @ICHOOSE180 Another fine example of Seattle journalism written about people that agree with each other, excellent reporting. So, will you follow up with a counter to these ideas? Or is it pretty much settled that what you report is right and anyone that disagrees is wrong?
