We are so excited to welcome José Gabriel Guerreiro Vieira — known as Gabi — from Portugal to the 15th World Down Syndrome Day Conference at the United Nations on 23 March 2026.
Gabi was born in Venezuela and moved to Portugal as a teenager.
Swimming has taken him around the world, brought him old and new friends, and given him a sense of belonging that goes far beyond the pool.
