How appropriate that her "official" signing was done early this AM in quiet and empty halls of Roosevelt. She has always "worked in the dark" and today was no different as she jumped out of gym work to sign. Tomorrow we celebrate with our community that has poured into her.

Congrats Staff Champion of the Week Ms. Dunley! She is a wonderful contributor to our IL Team, coordinates NHS & manages over 450 students in GT. NHS ran Trunk or Treat & a blood drive. Questions the system through an equity lens, and more. Grateful for her service to Roosevelt!

The School Board has unanimously voted to name the gymnasium at @DsmEast High School in honor of long-time basketball Coach Sam L. Powell. He led the Scarlets to five State tournament appearances including a championship in 2011.
