@nudfkm I don’t think they want to get paid. I think they want their effort to be recognized and appreciated. I recently came across something called Pigou’s paradox and it tells about how if a man marries his housekeeper the GDP of the country falls as the economic value is erased.

@nudfkm Same way no wife would be opposed to a little well done, thank you and some support in household work from their husband when he can. It all boils down to consideration. In all marry someone you Love and RESPECT. All of this shouldn’t be hard

@nudfkm This is all from an economic standpoint though. Whether or not they should want or demand payment is a different story. I’m not in support of people being paid to take care of their children. However, women’s efforts should be recognized and appreciated

@nudfkm Or/and the opportunity cost. Now if a woman also works a 9 to 5 and also carries out her household duties alone I haven’t seen any research or figures but i think that woman is contributing more “economic value” to the family a lot of times more than we realize
